Homedics Spring Thera-P Topper, Twin Reviews
11 of 11 people found the following review helpful Perfect sleep!, August 23, 2010 By Postmoderna (New York, New York) - See all my reviews This review is from: Homedics Spring Thera-P Topper, Queen (Kitchen) I did not purchase the Homedics Thera-P Topper from Amazon, but instead from another place where even on sale, the $600 mattress topper it was $299 (Amazon offers this for $250). However, it's highly recommended, particularly when free shipping is offered.
Other Homedics products (back massage pillows, massage pads) have never failed me, and Homedics products are especially tailored to alleviate back pain. This mattress topper revived new life onto a rock hard mattress. When my bf moved into my apartment, I had to get this mattress topper because my very rock hard mattress was causing lots of backpain for him. I too had back pain but never considered the bed to be an issue.
After setting up the mattress, we've both woken up the next day without the usual achy sores and joint aches.
The item is terribly heavy (about 40-50 pounds) and comes in a box, shrink wrapped and decompressed of air. After taking it from the packaging, let it lie flat on the mattress for... Read more
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Lower back problems started again after using this product, March 12, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Homedics Spring Thera-P Topper, Queen (Kitchen) I bought this mattress for my vacation apartment. I have tempurpedic at my primary home. Tempurpedic has been fantastic for my lower back pain. I almost have none becuase of it (and daily stretching routine). For my vacation apartment bedroom, I was expecting same effect from this topper but at least avoid my chronic lower back problem. However, after few weeks of use, my back problem got progressively worst to the degree that I took this topper off from the mattress.
Additionally, this topper constantly slips out of alignment with mattress, creating a hole between itself and headboard which makes sitting on the bed almost more pain inducing then sleeping.
Overall, I would not recommend this topper at all.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful Sinked to the middle of the bed, August 24, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Homedics Spring Thera-P Topper, Full (Kitchen) After reading some great reviews on this product I purchased it for my fiance (he has back issues).
This mattress pad is awful. The topper fit perfectly on our bed and looked like it was going to be very comfortable but after really trying to like it (for 3 nights), I had to remove it from my bed.
We sunk into the bed, we both rolled toward the middle of the bed as well. I spent over $200 because I thought it was going to be worth it, but my fiance and I both agree that it is not helpful, not even a little.
